SIERRA BOT

It is an automated system for inventory control, consisting of a robotic operator capable of performing a cyclic count autonomously with the precise location of each material.

It is a tool that aims to save time and costs, through the use of RFID technology, which allows the online and real-time tracking of the stored inventory, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, as well as in the mitigation of risks to people by eliminating functions in the operation. Additionally, we highlight its contribution to the environment by having long-lasting lithium batteries and with zero noise pollution.

Sierra Bot is at the forefront of global trends in storage management. It was a project that began as part of the strategic planning of the Superintendency of Warehouse and Inventory, which began the year in 2018 with the support of the Superintendency of Technological Innovation, Computer Science and Digital Transformation and KGHM. Today, it has become a milestone for mining, being our pioneer company in the country and in South America by incorporating this solution into its operations.
