Sierra Gorda SCM is a company established in Chile, whose main business purpose is the exploitation, extraction, treatment, beneficiation, and marketing of mineral products, being its main asset the mining project Sierra Gorda, located in the vicinity of the town of Sierra Gorda, Region of Antofagasta, Chile.

In our vision, we have established our aspiration to be the safest and most efficient low-grade green copper mining company in the world. In our mission we are motivated to produce copper with low carbon and water footprint, generating value for humankind, the community and shareholders.

We are proud to operate sustainably. From the onset, our mining company was designed to operate with seawater, without using a single drop of inland water in our production process, minimizing our water footprint.

Since 2023 our electricity consumption, of approximately 1.3 GWh per year, is covered 100% by renewable energy sources.
