Sierra Gorda Sociedad Contractual Minera (Sierra Gorda SCM) is a mining Company dedicated to operate a mining site in Chile, specifically in the region of Antofagasta, in the commune of Sierra Gorda. It is located about 60 kilometers north of the city of Calama, 150 km from the city of Antofagasta and about 4.5 kilometers from the town of Sierra Gorda.

Due to the proximity of the mining operations to the town of Sierra Gorda, neighbors and their well-being are very present in the decision-making and operations that could impact their quality of life. This is defined by procedures, protocols and the corporate culture that developed and strengthened over the years based on a harmonious and constructive coexistence.

The Community Relationship Strategy of Sierra Gorda SCM is based on the permanent dialog that we have with the communities, which allows us to assertively identify their main desires and challenges.
