ETHICS AND MODEL FOR CRIME PREVENTION
IMPORTANCE OF ETHICAL ASPECTS IN OUR BUSINESS
At Sierra Gorda SCM, we understand that ethical aspects are fundamental to the success and sustainability of the organization. The commitment to ethics not only guides our internal decisions, but also sets a standard for interactions with employees, customers, suppliers and the wider community. The promotion of an ethical environment is also essential to prevent crime and misconduct.
Therefore, we established a Model for Crime Prevention that allows us to promote the highest ethical standards, and ensure compliance with local and international laws on the prevention of crime.
MODEL FOR CRIME PREVENTION
The Model for Crime Prevention is the group of organizational, administrative and supervisory measures documented in different policies and procedures, through which ethical rules are established and promoted, and whereby irregularities and crimes are prevented. It was established according to Law 20.393, ensuring its periodic evaluations, not only by our internal audit
department, but also by external auditors.
The objective of these evaluations is to confirm that the model is credible and appropriate to its business purpose, size and business of Sierra Gorda SCM and, in addition, that the duties of direction and supervision leading to the prevention of the commission of crimes are fulfilled.
Information regarding the MCP is available for all persons who are interested in knowing our Policy for the Prevention of Crime and the Manual of Conduct (such documents are available in the tab “Policies”). Until 2025 Sierra Gorda SCM certified the model every two years by an authorized third party (a certifying entity registered with the Chilean Financial Market Commission). Currently, after the entry into force of Law 21.595, amending Law 20.393, we carry out our periodic evaluations by independent third parties.

CODE OF BUSINESS CONDUCT AND ETHICS
The primary document of our Model for Crime Prevention helps to define priorities and establish a set of generic rules that apply to all employees with the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. This code contains clear guidelines on how we should conduct business and work for and in the name of Sierra Gorda SCM, and also materializing our values ESTAR, in the daily practice of our activities. It is the duty of each Sierra Gorda SCM employee to ensure compliance with this code, to ensure an operation of excellence and sustainable
over time, where people want to work and with whom stakeholders want to relate constructively.
